[RESOLVED] GameEx Arcade Ed no longer loads MAME

I am running GameEx Arcade Edition with a few emulators. They ran fine until just now, all of a sudden, it won't load MAME & gives me the screen attached in my photo.

I can play the MAME games in my favorites list with no problem, though. I did not change any MAME settings.

Also, I am trying to run Playstation One emulator, PCSXR, through GameEx and none of the games will load when I try to play them. However, if I run them directly through PCSXR, they work perfect. I checked my settings to ensure the command lines are set right & all is well there. Any idea what the issue is here as well?

I resolved the loading of MAME issue, but still cannot play the PCSXR ISOs through GameEx, they play fine directly through PCSXR, though...

How did you resolve your MAME loading issue?

Instead of one long thread addressing issues with multiple emulators which may or may not result in a common solution, I'll ask that you open a separate tbread for each.

Also, please provide your solution for the MAME issue. This may help someone else experiencing the same. Thanks.

Are you going to offer solutions or just tell me to start a bunch of threads? It's the same issue with a whole 2 emulators...

 

I toggled settings for MAME & restarted GameEx each time.

Not sure what I said to deserve your tone in response. I'll explained again why you should start a new thread for each emulator:

1 - Long threads for multiple emulators get cumbersome when attempting to address issues for those trying to help and those looking for a solution.

2 - While the issues may appear the same, the solutions may vary by emulator.

3 - When opening a thread for a specific issue, it is recommended that you attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt file for each thread opened and the log.txt file should be immediately following the error for the system you are reporting.

Please reference the threads below if you have any further questions as to why we ask what do fron you.
