znes, or zsnes? never heard of znes if it does exist. in that emulator's config set the map keys to yes. this should work.

I believe that what he is saying is that when he hits esc instead of it going back to gameex, it will display the zsnes file menu and you ahve to scroll down and select quit, instead of just hitting esc and it automatically going back. I had this problem as well. Is this what you are saying?

yes I'm saying that! Since I use esc to exit from other emulators I want to use it in the same way for zsnes...

Like Katuuz said - go into your GameEx config [sTART -> All Programs -> GameEx -> Configuration ], select the emulator (ZSNES in this case) and navigate to the page that has the following option:

MapKeys - Yes

(1st config on page 2)

You can enable this for ALL your emulators and [ESC] will be your exit key for all of them.

For an added bonus, open your ZSNES folder and open zsnesw.cfg in your text editor. Locate this line:

; GUI Disable (1 = Disable GUI, 0 = Enable GUI)

GUIDisable = 0

Change it to this:

GUIDisable = 1

Save and exit.

By the way, if you plan to use zsnesw.exe outside of GameEx, you'll have to change this back since you won't be able to select a ROM from the GUI (cause it's disabled!)

Hope that helps. :)
