[RESOLVED] GameEx won't return after exiting Steam game

Does anyone know how to have GameEx return after exiting a Steam game? Seems that after quitting any Steam game, the front end exited as well in the background. 

I was thinking using the "Launch After" field to have it reload .. but I'm not clear on if this is a solution. 

Any help is appreciated. Thx.

Can you please attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files right after the error occurs? 

The issue may be a simple fix and you may be on the right path, but seeing your configuration and log results may better help us help you.

Normally it is because the steam overlay needs to be enabled. GameEx checks for this process to know when the game has exited..

So this issue appears to have corrected itself after I rebooted and tried today.The GameEx front end does return after quitting a Steam game, however it will take a 5-10 seconds (it's a bit slower than quitting a MAME game let's say). Thanks!
