Is there a way to play a game currently being displayed in the screensaver. I know Tom's MAME Screensaver does this. Is there anyay to do this in gameex?

And how can I change the key for the ESC button.. I want to use a different key to force close emulators and come back to gameex.

And for some reason my MCE remote works except for the OK button... Any ideas?

Also is there a way to change the key that displays the controls. I want to use that key for a different mame command.

No big deal! Go for "ingame CP view VK" in the "advanced mame settings" in the configuration :)

Yep,

You want to play a game that is currently displayed in screensaver-just inset a credit and away you go.

As for the ESC button-just remap it to whatever you like.

I figured out the controls button. Thanx Nullus

But the screensaver and esc buttons are still wrong

Do I chenge the ESC button in custom inputs? If I have to do this, what is the line I add to the .ini

For the screensaver I am running Mame 32Plus as my main mame. Should I change that to regular old Mame.exe and my advancedmame to mame32plus? I'm not using advanced mame.

I read in an early post by Tom that the ESC is the one button in gameex that can't be changed. Has this been addressed?

No way :(. You cannot add lines to the custominput.ini you can just modify the existing ones... .

THAT SUCKS!!! This means I have to return my J-PAC cause it won't change it's keystrokes

Thanx Nullus

Thats not true! You can use AutoHotkey to map the ESC key to any other key on your J-PAC. Also isn't there software to change the mappings in the J-PAC itself?
