You should only need to run pinballx as administrator if you are launching systems that are also set to launch as administrator. This should only apply to old versions of visual pinball.

It has been noticed then some recent versions of vpx do have issues exiting and hang both from pinballx and when launched on there own. I am happy to look into this but my current thinking is that this is an issue with VPX rather than PinballX.

On my cab I run all sorts of things and the only thing I have running as admin is DOFLinx.exe

I read the next release that will be fixed

The more things you set as admin - The more things you're going to have to set as admin

@jbdietrich2 did you get this issue resolved or have you given up? I see that you were last on 1 October and others have provided input but no response from you since mid September.
