Alpha or page up and down

I'm sorry all, as I am not at my machine, so don't have a .ini to upload right now, but I am using a tankstick, and page up/down and alpa up/down are suppose to be button 1 + up/down/left/right, but my button 1 goes to home, which shouldn't be happening according to the button config on x-arcade's website, for GameEx.  I would rather not have a "home " button if it means sacrificing page and alpha up and down.  Any suggestions, or past experiences that could help me get this figured out?  Thank you all, what an amazing group

I assume you are referring to this page on the X-Arcade website.

ini and log files are important tools that help us get helpful background information. It makes it more difficult for us when they are not included as there are unanswered questions regarding what your setup is.

For instance, in this thread, Draco notes that X-Arcade Tankstick will not work with GameEx Arcade menus. Are you using GameEx Aracde by chance? This is a shot in the dark, so if that isn't it, please post your gameex.ini and log.txt files.

I believe there was an update to fix that.  It's 8n that thread you linked.  Every other menu button option works except for that one.  When I hit the first button, it goes to the start screen.  I want to remove the ability for any button to return to the home screen.  Thank you.  I still am not by my machine, so no ini or log files yet.  I just thought maybe somebody has experienced it and has a solution.

Not a great way to troubleshoot...but I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully the right person will happen by.

It was fixed by an update to GameEx Arcade. 

@jmmagic - I do not believe such a feature will exist within any functional frontend as there has to a means of returning to a previous or start menu or it severely limits the functionality and flexibility of the frontend.
