Brightness adjustment when browsing tables in the menu

So I have made color brightness adjustments to the Pincab. But now, when browsing the tables, the table videos are much too dark. I have the brightness adjustment in PBX settings set to 250, but that still is not bright enough. Is there another way where I can brighten up the table videos?

Can you adjust the display gamma value - either directly in the TV/monitor settings or the video card settings (or both)?

It may also be a power-saving setting that could be affecting things - again either in the monitor or computer/video card settings.

Not sure its a setting. The desktop, games, vp, internet all look fine. Pinballx vids are very very dark. I could be wrong, but i think pbx auto dims those vids just a bit. There is also an adjustment for this in settings. But even the brightest adjustment, is still too dark. Any way to bypass this NJ possible auto darkening?

AFAIK, Pinball X leverages ffmpeg/ffplay.

You can adjust video playback (filters) using command line arguments, but I'd imagine there is/are a number of preset playback templates built into PBX.

The Image/Video Brightness option in the PBX Settings app is probably a tweak that alters the ffplay brightness command value (or accesses a different template).

This would result in a command that looks something like this: "ffplay -vf eq=brightness=0.08:saturation=2 videoname.mp4"

Have a poke around here (sections 10.5.1 and 10.5.1.1) to learn more:

Took a look and its over my head for sure.

I will submit a request to maybe for a future build, have more flexibility (wider range) for the brightness adjustment, without all of the "hack-ory".
