PinballX 2.70 Pending BG/DMD Display & Pause/Resume Issues [RESOLVED]

Running PBX on a 3 screen cab, no addons, run mostly VP9 & VPX Tables.

Off the top on my head, here's what I recall from the past few versions:

 

Since 2.64 I have not downloaded a version that the BG & DMD properly displayed video/pics when cycling thru tables (either Blank, Slow, or Frozen) and the Pause/Resume features all worked.

V2.65 is my latest I've been reverting back to cause can't redownload v2.64, after testing v2.65, noted video issues all good (responds fast to table selections), but noticed for the 1st time the Game Pause/Resume feature fails to give a return to game option, thus opens multi version of the table at a time.

V2.66 Never seen Posted.

V2.67 Bad BG & DMD (Blank, Slow, Frozen), Pause/Return Bad.

V2.68 Bad BG & DMD (Blank, Slow, Frozen), Pause/Resume now Good again.

V2.69 Never seen Posted.

V2.70 (Current) Bad BG & DMD (Blank, Slow, Frozen), Pause/Resume still Good.

Do you have the latest LAV codecs installed?

Just so you know videos load much faster on windows 8 and 10 in all versions of pinballx.

Where can I check the codec version?  Doesn't that get installed/updated with the latest VPX10.4 full install package?

Over 60% of vpinball users still use Win7:  http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=22751

Still only 17% using Win8 and Win10.combined, but probably time for an updated survey...
