GameEx crash @play an mpg

Hi..

i have install the new FFDSHOW-CODEC from 03. Aug 2006 to uptade the previous version.. GameEx crash now when play a mpg. i have in my theme two videos (mame.mpg and MameAll.mpg in Directory "LOGOS").

is this a bug from FFDSHOW?

Sounds like it might be a bug in FFDSHOW, the daily builds can be very buggy. There's been no stable version released for a couple of years, which is kind of pain with what I would I would otherwise probably call one of the best open source projects there is.

The most stable one I have found is the one right on the bottom of the page of the daily builds. I'd say it was probably a bad move to upgrade FFDSHOW in your case, the daily builds are not proper releases of the software.
