[RESOLVED] Setup Wizard crashes

Set up Wizard crashes when I try to click on "Input Settings". The log files seem to explain why, but I don't understand them.  Can someone help me.  I finally got GameEx to launch and now I can't configure it.

You need DirectX 9 installed too, this helped me

You can download "DirectX Dependency Fixer (DXFix)" from here:
https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/directx-dependency-fixer-dxfix.87/

Direct link to exe:

Install the above file first, if it still complains download DirectX9 from the Microsoft website.

AAAAAUUUUGH Tom told me to load DirectX 9 and when I did the full windows re-install I loaded directX 12 and forgot 9.  Thank you Thank you fully functional!!!!!!!!!

I believe many new users installing GameEx on their shiny new machines/installs (especially with Windows 10/Xbox One controllers becoming the go to setup these days for casual PC gamers - Xbox One controller on GameEx, exit game function not working ) get put off when these type of itty bitty errors appear, if they're not very IT savvy they will not investigate further or even ask for help on forums as they don't know what to ask for.

Any dependency files should be packaged part of the GameEx install or available as a separate download within the setup to keep the install streamlined and end-user engaged through out the set-up process.
