Gamex Crashing upon opening.

Hello,

 

I was hoping someone could help me.
GameEx has started crashing on me upon opening.

I reinstalled it and got it to work, then it crashed again.

I changed the resolution and it worked, only to crash again on me now.

I'm running Windows 10 and GameEx did work fine on this pc before.

This issue happens when windows 10 updates to creators edition 1 or 2. The solution normally is to go inside the GameEx folder and find the ttf fonts right click them and install them,.

Its because creators edition does not allow fonts to be installed via a shortcut by default. Microsoft introduced this new feature.

The issue should be fixed for new installs of GameEx but existing setups have this issue.

I didn't have the regular GameEx installed.  I didn't know where to locate the TTF fonts so I installed regular GameEx and that seemed to fix the problem (for now anyway, we'll see).

Should the regular GameEx and the Arcade version be stored in separate folders or the same together?

Both versions should be installed in their own folders.
