dosbox games

is it possible to play doebox games like blood,commander keen etc .in game ex .just that I'm not sure how to work the roms part the exe dosent work just takes me to dosbox z:

I think it should just work like any other emulator although Ill admit I have never tried DosBox. I'm more of a retro console and arcade guy. I am sure plenty others have it working though.

On another topic I'm making a arcade coffee table with a lcd tv,i want to run the mane games vertical how do I do that.

I would suggest keeping the topic in this thread isolated to getting DOSBox running and address MAME vertical games in a separate thread.
