Possible to add GameEX to PinballX?

I'm currently making a hybrid 2 screen setup with an arcade stick so want to include Mame. However, I want to use GameEX. Currently when I boot the machine it automatically launches into PinballX, and would like to have a pinball as 'GameEX' which then boots into the GameEX front end.

However, I'll be stuffed if I can work out how to boot an external app from PinballX. 

Any ideas?

Have you taken a look at  LauncherX? While you are not launching from PinballX, it will at least provide a startup option to use GameX or PinballX.

@Vladdo did you try the solution suggested or find another solution?

Take pinballx out of the startup sequence or use msconfig and remove pinballx from there, then you can choose pinballx or gameex.
