I was wondering if there is a way to change music tracks while playing say a NES or SNES emulator? (I have next and prev track buttons on my control panel). I thought that I read somewhere that the ability for Game Ex to reconigze the ESC key in an emulator was not a simple task, so I don't know if this is possible or too much of a hassle to impliment.

Thanks

Its supposed to do it already, but I think you found a bug. It seems it was not working if using an advanced emulator config, and had joystick mapping or mouse emulation enabled. Do you have that on?

I don't think I do, but I'm not sure. I am using Mame32, ZSNES, and Nesitopia. I am pretty much using their default settings other then the keymapping

Also, is there away to disable the alpha seeking while in a game list. I have the track changes buttons set to j and l to work with my Keywiz but I don't want to skip to j's in the game list when I switch tracks. Any suggestions?

Does it work with MAME? Works for me.

It does not work in MAME. It should be noted that I changed the definitions for the track changing from a and s to j and l. Also note that the track changing buttons on the MCE remote works while in MAME and ZSNES.

Could this all possibly be an issue with changing from the default keys for track changing?

I was not aware it was possible to change these keys. Seems to work fine for me both with the remote and A and S in MAME and the screensaver, but the A & S are not set to work when in an emulator, only the Media Keys/Buttons.

I changed the PrevTrack and NextTrack in the custoninput.ini and it works fine in the menus. Except for when in a game list and it jumps to j or l in the list.

You stated that they "are not set to work when in an emulator" does this mean you have Game Ex configured for this or is it not possible to have them work in other emulators?
