PS1/2 - Multi-Disc (I know...again!)

Hi guys

I have searched and spent numerous hours trying to get this sorted and have made some headway but I am struggling to get the last few settings up and running. I'm away from my cab at the moment so if I need to post anything tell me what and I will do when I get home.

Problem:

Setting up and running multi-bin file and multi disc games in PSX and PCSX2 (and other systems)

So Far:

1) I have found ISOBuster which allows me to combine multiple bin files so that PS emulators will load the CUE file properly (won't do it with multiple tracks). This has meant that I can load games (or the first disc of a game) by loading the CUE. I have therefore filtered the roms to only show CUE files which helps with displaying the games. this should be sufficient for single disc games and correct music etc correct me if wrong?

2) For multi disc games I am uncertain of the best way to arrange and swap discs. Admittedly I have not needed to yet but I only just started PS1/2 emulation.

I have tried and failed to utilise Daemon Tools Lite with Virtual Drive Loader plugin, I just cant get it to play nice. It is most definitely user error! 

• Download and install DT Lite
• Create a SCSI drive in DT (F:)
• Gameex command line set to "psxfin.exe [DTLOADER-SCSI] --fullscreen" 
• Update the defaulted command line in VDL for Playstation  from drive "0" to "F" (populated when selecting "SCSI" and hitting the tick)
• Setting the drive to use in PSX to F:

When I go in the VDL plugin configure screen and run the batch file it states something like deprecated syntax and it looks like it tried to load it to drive 0: (zero) as if the change in the command lines for mount and unmount below had not been recognised. HELP!

I looked for an idiots guide but I don't think anyone has written one idiot enough for me!

1. What is the easiest way to handle multiple discs for an idiot like me?! (Does Gameex Arcade now support this at all?)
2. If VDL plugin is the best solution then please help me to figure out what I am doing wrong!
3. If there is an all together more efficient way to achieve all of this please let me know! 

Ultimately i would like one line for each game regardless of number of discs (Am aware of merge sets but not sure how to use it once you get to the end of the first disc?!). i think this is the same for any emulator so most importantly PS1, PS2 and I think Dreamcast (DEMUL).
