stigzler
I love GameEx with all my heart. HideOS.exe, on the other hand, I loathe with a passion. Just when I think I have it licked it rears its ugly little head once more! Ok - I'll cut the drama. Have "Hide Desktop" set to No in Display settings and "Show Desktop" set to Yes in an emulator. However, HideOS still runs, interfering with other apps I have running. I know we can just rename it Tom, but you have to do so every update and it'd be awesome to have a setting to disable it entirely. I know it'll be a good feature for some, but it can be a nuisance for others.
Draco1962
Have you considered running a batch file before launching GameEx that deletes hideos.exe or renames it?
RedDog
I normally have Hide Desktop disabled as it makes testing easier. HideOS does not launch when I start GameEx. This is what I would expect. I wonder why it is doing so for you. Maybe check your GameEx.ini to see if the HIDEDESKTOP parameter somehow appears twice.
stigzler
Good idea. If this bug doesn't happen for others then it must be my end. I'll take a look. Ta
