xagesz
So I have been trying to clean up my build and hide everything. When I set up a Group Policy to start PinballX I get the PinballX Load screen then crash. Draco1962
Why a group policy vs. Setting up as a Startup process? If it is failing with a group policy setting, you are going to have to sort that for yourself. It isn't a PinballX error.
xagesz
I don't want the Desktop to be seen at all. My computer boots in less than 5 seconds. I can hide bios screen. windows logo loading screen. I want the desktop hidden too. I want the button to click. and boom instant pinball. like it was all one piece. After PBX fails I can run it manually from run command like nothing happened. Some ideas on why would be great. I know this is an oddball thing but I want fluididy.
Draco1962
Have you looked into running your PC in Kiosk mode instead?

Draco1962
You will have to explore that in detail. I haven't played with it to know the limitations.
rablack97
Try looking through this tutorial, Hiding windows 10, I've been trying to do the same as well. The only piece i'm missing is making the login graphic totally disappear and the swirling dots in win 10. There is a section on how to shell your frontend, i haven't tried that yet, but I agree on the feature built into Pinball X, it flashes the desktop before running the actual program. Enabling GOD mode helps as well to get to all the super user screen quicker in windows 10 as well Windows 7 was easier to hide, Win 10 is a PITA. Here is my tutorial for hiding win 7 if anyone is interested Hide Windows
