Hello,

this is strange, :

I have a DMD video while browsing tables in PBX, everything fine.

When starting a table the PBX dmd video disappears and the displayt shows what it has to show, all ok.

When I press the button to get into the PBX menu (i.e. to view the flyer) the menu shows up together with the PBX display video (so far so good)

But now: when I exit the PBX menu to return to the table the PBX video display don't stop so 2 dmd video's (PBX and the table dmd) try to show up both resulting in a blinking DMD showing one time the PBX video and the other time the table DMD.

So I think PBX 'forgets' to kill the 'show dmd' task when exiting the menu....

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Please attach copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files when reporting any potential issues with PinballX. Thanks!

Sorry...I thought you could reproduce this error easy but here it is:

And I will upload a small video where you can see what happens but as this takes some time (slow upload) I will provide that later

Not everyone's kit is the same from the OS, installed software and codecs, to the hardware. The common baseline is the ini and the details the log file may provide.

No problem, I appreciate the help you guys provide.

So....here's the video. I couldn't upload it directly here because of it's size so I did it with wetransfer:

As you can see, on sec8 I press the menu button and on sec15 (I must say, it takes more time then I used to) the menu comes up and the display will display the defined video (it's in white).

On sec 21 when I return to the table you can see it tries to display both video's.

Problem solved.

Changed from Libusb pin2dmd-drivers to the Winusb  pin2dmddrivers (this can be done with the Zadig utility)

This solved the 'double-display' problem as described above but a new problem with the pause menu came in.

This was solved bij Lucky1  with a new dmddevice.dll  which is from now in the pin2dmd package.
