All my future pinball tables run fine from fploader in bam folder but when going through pinball x it falls apart, just as the table loads it goes striaght back to the choose table menu and wheel.

 my ini file is attached.

This has been driving me mad for a while now  my pinball fx2 tables launch fine. Hope someone can help me sort this as im new to all this. I bought a cab with it already on it but while getting  a few more tables i got a major virus that required a clean install since then ive been struggling to get this to work. Now im on the the last stage of getting things to run with the frontend. Hope someone can help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Im still trying to get this to work and have attached also my log file. My pinball fx2 tables are also playing up now too i can play few for a few seconds then it goes back to main pinball x menu.

Ive noticed in the log file a line saying " Exit system control pressed " but no buttons have been pressed and in pinball fx2 just the flipper buttons were pressed nothing else.

Any ideas what this means and how to rectify.

Can you tell us more about your setup? Do you have a pincab? Is nudge setup? I ask as I have a mini pin and had some issues that required some playing with the sensitivity as the bass from the table audio would thump just right and cause the table to tilt or exit.

Hi Draco

Yes I do have a Pincab and nudge is set to two buttons on each side of cab under flipper buttons. Speakers are in the backglass box it's just a two speaker setup ( something I was going to change at some point as not much bass ). I don't have any shakers or anything like that yet, can't get tables running on cab so don't want to run before I could walk.

Only doing this as I had to wipe the system and start again. So I'm learning from scratch.

Not sure what else I can tell you that would be useful apart from nothing hardware wise since this was all running when I got the machine.

I don't know if it will make a difference but I don't use the /arcaderender in my configuration

I have the parameter field looking like this:

/STAYINRAM /open "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" /play /exit

I don't know if your buttons act as keys or gamepad/joystick buttons but you will want to make sure that there are no conflicts with FP.

My buttons are connected into an ipac board which thought was to translate to keyboard commands not joystick, am i correct with assumption?

I put in you what you have in the parameter field see attached ini file to make sure i wrote completely right as my eyes are hurting now lol.

After putting the new line pinball x opened up and then froze i couldnt even go through the wheel or even shut it down. Had to ctrl alt delete into task manager to shut it down, that even took 3-4 attemps as pinball x would go over the task manager box until finally i could close it.

A new log file is attached after this happened.
