[RESOLVED] Launching a VP table throws me back to menu, but loads table

So up until tonight, my pinballx was working fine.  However; tonight when I go to launch a game, it shows me the loading screen, then sends me right back to the main menu.  The strange part is VP loads up in the background, but I am unable to get to the game unless I close out Pinballx.  I can Alt+tab and see the game is there and running, but can't select it.  I can also run tables fine outside of Pinballx.  What happened, and is there a fix?

Heads up, PinballMod is psymod 5 9.2 is VP 9.2.1 And visual Pinball is 993

It sounds like PinballX isn't detecting the process is still running. Can't see anything wrong with your config though. Did anything change on your system?

I would say that you should have PinballX set to run as administrator with those old versions of Visual Pinball.

The only thing different was I attempted today to install a third monitor to display monitor 1, but I couldn't get that to work, so I went back to my orignal 2 monitor setup.  With 190 tables loaded into my pinballlx I'm praying for a miricale here! I really don't want to have to redo all of this.

You should post the log with the issue actually happening though rather just launch and exit PinballX.

Can you elaborate?    At this point I really just want to get this back up and working again.  I have been at this whole process for about a month and last night I finally had everything where I wanted it and today this happens.

Run PinballX, launch a table that has the issue, exit pinballx and provide the log again.

I just went and relaunched pinballx.  Its now working 100%.  I have NO idea what was different.  I right clicked pinballx and ran as administrator this time (something I have NEVER done) and it worked!   Problem solved I guess?

With those old VP exes PinballX should be running as administrator I would think.

It does sound like some kind of windows security issue.
