pinball x videos too narrow

Trying to get my PF videos set up - after rotating the display, etc, the videos for the playfield are being "narrowed" on my PF. although the wheel makes it to both sides. Ive tried running it in windowed, full screen, and fullscreen windowed mode with the same result.

If I run it in windowed mode the window shrinks to the size of the video. is there any may to manually override this?
