Turn off animation/zooming?

Is there a way to turn off the animation zooms/swishes that occur when you select items?  Just want a quick switch, no need to do the fade/blend/etc. 

I feel like I had it set that way before, but can't find a setting for it now.

Yes you can do this,

Load the GameEx Setup Wizard, choose Custom> Display Settings.

In "Display Settings" find the entry: Menu Transitions

Change it from 3D Alpha Blended to 2D

 

This should be what you are looking for.

Thanks!  Tried that and it still does the transitions with the menus moving, it just looks a bit different.  Let me make sure the setting took.
