mame crash during demo

this is not a gameex problem but maybe someone here can help. I have over 100 favorites in mame and I have gameex set to demo only the favorites. I am running groovymame and crt emudriver on a d9800 and when I exit gameex I see on the desktop mame has crashed. last time this happened it was a resolution problem and I was there when it happened and had seen what game it was and added the mode to the drivers, last night it happened again. is there any easy way to find out what game it was? either in gameex logs or mame? I looked it the gameex logs and didn't see anything. don't want to sit and try every game until I find it.
