Hi, I recently updated Kodi to last the release. The Game EX addon is not compatible anymore and being deactivated.

Here is the Kodi log:

NOTICE: ADDON: plugin.program.GameEx version 1 is incompatible

However if I reactivate the extension Game EX launches correctly but I have to reenable the app each time Kodi is rebooted.

Let's hope Kodi didn't ban all kind of exteriors exes we can launch from their apps.

I did the following, which seems to have fixed the incompatible error:

Go to C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\plugin.program.gameex

Open addon.xml in notepad

Change the python version to 2.20.0, ex:

    <import addon="xbmc.python" version="2.20.0"/>
 

After making that change I was able to re-activate the plugin and it's stayed active (so far).
