Low Frame Rates in Pinball X

Howdy! I'm stumped!!! When i launch and run Visual Pinball 10.1.0 tables outside of Pinball X , the FPS averages around 350 FPS. When I launch the same games through Pinball X, the FPS drops to 90 on average. I've made sure the Hide DMD and Hide Backglass are checked, but that didn't help. I've tested with several different table and got the same results, so I don't think it is the table. Thank you for any help you can give!
