hansolo77
I know, but I'm slowly getting familiar with it.

hansolo77
Elephino. Things like that are usually detected automatically during boot up each time. I would imagine if the hardware is compatible it should work. Like, I doubt the Raspberry Pi is capable of such a thing other than running a wire to the actual exposed reset pad on the circuit board. If you're using a standard PC mobo, it's probably down to something like the capabilities of the OS. I know on my PC, it was a jumper I had to switch from OFF to ON, then it worked out of the box via hardware. I don't imagine something like that being restricted due to Linux. Probably some command like "sudo wake up you lazy somb!tch" or something like that. More likely it will be a bios change if the mobo bios supports it. stigzler
I would ask in a linux forum, but think I'd either get 5 questions back to my one (which I couldn't answer) or "rtfm"
