Hello everyone!!

I would like to configure the emulator for Amiga CD32 and wants your help to find the easiest way to do it.

I have seen several posts in the forum regarding configuration of Win-UAE, but it is not clear if with my set of roms is valid to follow those steps.

It is recommended to use the Win-uae launcher, but I don't know  if my roms set is compatible with this launcher.

My set roms are "Redump". Are.zip files that contains * .bin and * .cue.

What would be the easyest way to configure GameEx to launch these games?

Do I need to mount the images on a virtual drive before launching?

Is there a tutorial on how to do everything step by step?

I tried before set this emulator and I've never gotten work .... I guess I'm not doing things right.

Thank you for your help

I do not run this emulator, but I will recommend that you get it running well outside of GameEx first. if you can't get it running there, you will be spinning your wheels trying to get it to run through GameEx.

I use Winuae for CD32,works quite well

Attached is a capture of my config, perhaps it can help you to understand how it works

The key is to make a config file for the CD32 hardware to emulate with WinUAE, mine is called CD32.UAE as you can see.

Hope it helps

First of all, I want to thank Rochabian and Draco1962 for your help to solve my problem, many thanks my friends!!!

Finally I managed to run my games collection of Commodore Amiga CD32.

I decided to install the fs-uae emulator, because I think it is a bit easier to configure than win-uae.

Once checked out GameEx that the emulator worked with the games, I just had to make the typical configuration setting with Setup Wizard, and the command line in my case is:

fs-uae.exe --fullscreen = 1 --amiga-model = CD32 --cdrom-drive-0 = "[rompath] / [ROMFILE]"

All seems to work wonderfully!!! also my controllers inside games!!!

I have to say I did not know this system before, but I have been surprised by some of the games and their graphics. I think that this was a good system in its time.

Thanks again to all of you for the help friends. My noob problem is solved!!!!!

Glad you've resolved your problem !  And yes, the CD32 was a great system. I don't know if you've searched about games for this system, but the CD32 community is still active.

Many Amiga games are unofficially ported to CD32, Just search for " Unofficial CD32 port" in google and you'll find some gems....

Back in 2005, i've made a compilation of Games & Demos for CD32. Search for " Rochabian Games & Demos" in google if you're interested.

There are some others compilations with 350 or 400 Amiga Games on it that are worth to try!
