Xbox one controller emulator issues

Let me start offf by saying that the issue im about to describe has nothing to do with the Gameex software itself. But Im hoping that somebody who went through something similar can help.

 

So the issue is this. My xb1 controller works amazingly in emulators. But I run into problem when a second xb1 controller is Connected. 

For example, in MAME. If i play with one controller, everything is normal and ok. But when i connect a 2nd xb1 controller,,,,it becomes player 1. And the initial controller stops functioning within the emulator. Even after I restart MAME...the same issue persist. Same goes for SNES.

 

For reference..Im going to mention that xbox 360 controllers work flawlessly with gameex. But I cant get xb1 controllers to function correctly for the life of me.
