Instant Sheller Win 7 error

Instant Sheller issue stuck in Undo mode never shells

First two things:

1- I am not using GameEx just didn't see where to post this ?

2 -  I have been using Instant sheller for years on both Win Xp and 7, 32 and 64 with no problems.

I think my issue might be that  it required Admin to run it as I dont remember having to do that on prev PC's, but that being said when I went to run IS and clicked Ready To Do It I got an Access Denied error to the backgrounds default.jpg located in the ...system32\oobe\info....folder.  I checked and that location is there.  so I clicked cancel to stop IS from shelling, but now every time I run IS it takes me straight to the Undo button and clicking that gives me an error.  IS never shells Windows on reboot.  I did a system restore and got back to IS before the problem and then i tried it again and same issue.  It might have to do with it requiring admin to run it.  i don't remember having to do that in the past.  Would love to try running it non admin but dont know how to do that.  If the Admin requirement is a user account thing I have never setup User accounts in Windows so not sure what to do there.

Have you seen or tried Shell Starter by @brienj? It may be what you need.

I would recommend going into regedit and saving a backup copy before using any shelling programs.
