SSF and DT Loading Issues

Hmmm.  After seeing this thread I just tried running my SSF setup.  It had been working fine in the past though I hadn't used it in a while.  Anyway, it no longer works for me (I was using the integrated virtual drive).  Just a black screen for a few moments before returning to the UI. Nothing obvious in the log. I've updated GameEx multiple times since the last time it worked as well as upgrading from Windows 8.1 to 10, so I suppose any of those factors could have broken it.  I'm going to try a few things before more formally reporting the problem (with my ini files etc.), but something is definitely going on.

I split this from the other post. Going forward, please start your own thread rather than add to another post in progress as your issue may not be related and too many people posting in the same thread will only add to the confusion when trying to troubleshoot the issue.

That said, please provide copies of your log.txt file and gameex.ini and follow the troubleshooting steps @RedDog posted here.  Thanks.

Secondly I'd advise stepping away from the integrated virtual drive support and using the plugin instead. You'll want to start a new thread with your issue... I think @RedDog put out a pretty solid tutorial but I can't easily find it in Tapatalk.

 

And you are indeed correct sir.  I updated Daemon tools and voila!  Things are working again.
