mamemaster
Hey there- I'm not new to emulators- and think I mostly got this running- but can't seem to activate the "auto rotation" in Pinball Arcade. I'm able to get it to launch PA in Steam- but only after I've exited PinballX. Obviously that's not my desired outcome. Further- it remains running horizontally no in portrait.I'm assuming that this should run within PinballX -and not just concurrently open steam on launch.I'm unclear how to accomplish that via the newly launched 2.1.Per the note posted in the forum-- Official integrated Pinball Arcade support. Will rotate screen and set portrait mode automatically. (Note: you should configure Pinball Arcade first.I hate being the noob LOL. Any suggestions are much appreciated! I obviously don't have this set up correctly. This is running on my VirtuaPin from Paul at VirtuaPin.net.I'm determined to get PBA running already on my cab! Thanks in advance (and feel free to toss tomatoes- I would at me lol).LEERRROOOYYYY JJJOOOHHNNNSSSOOONNN.....(thanks in advance everyone!) Tom Speirs
Your setup looks pretty screwey. I would start off with the default config. To get the defaults - in the setup wizard go to the pinball arcade section and click the "tick" to set default settings. Ensure your launch after is also disabled. Draco1962
Hi Tom - Is it possible that the "WaitFor=" line needs to be manually edited to -1 the same as what we had to with Pinball FX2?Also, shouldn't it be as follows:[PinballArcade]WorkingPath=C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\PinballArcadeExecutable=Steam.exeParameters=-applaunch 238260 [TABLEFILEWOEXT]Process=PinballArcade.exeEnabled=TrueWaitFor=
Tom Speirs
The -1 setting for waitfor is no longer relevant with the latest release. The default settings in the setup wizard should be correct. The above is almost there. Just click the "Tick" on existing installs.
Draco1962
Where is the "Tick" that you mention? I have been looking to try to install it myself. Are these settings correct?
Ginsonic
Tom,I am playing PBA in highres settings (buffer: 2160x3840), which makes the game wheel spin much more sluggish then in "normal" mode. Is there a way to set delay for the wheel spinning (cursor down movement), because currently the built-in script skips several tables on each movement and always selects the wrong one in the end. Tom Speirs
Id like to try and do a one size fits all if possible. Is it skipping over (too many) or not enough?
Tom Speirs
The tick is on the command bar in the Setup Wizard on the left side. Its always visible regardless of page/section. Maybe a Tick does not translate from English? Anyway, I don't personally think Pinball Arcade is that great an option for Pin Cabs myself. Your better playing the tables in VP. Ginsonic
Id like to try and do a one size fits all if possible. Is it skipping over (too many) or not enough? Not enough, many jumps get lost !I know this behaviour from my former own AHK script and therefore implemented a variable delay (currently 150ms).The problem is, that users with regular resolutions do not need a general delay, it slows down selection and so the whole starting progress.BTW: When the selected game was located on the second half of the wheel, I made the script skip backward, actually saves much time. Tom Speirs
Wow, thanks for the education. Its not what you know you don't know that gets you. It's what you don't know you don't know!
Draco1962
Does anyone have this working with the integrated PA option? If so, can you post your entries in Setup? Thanks!
Ginsonic
Does anyone have this working with the integrated PA option? If so, can you post your entries in Setup? Thanks!I know, that the parameter is not necessary here, but I left it from my former custom AHK script setup. If you do not use PbaFreeCamMod, set path to steam PBA subdirectory and and exe to PinballArcade.exe or PinballArcade11.exe

Tom Speirs
Mike, why don't you just set the defaults? What I the issue with doing that? I don't get it?
Tom Speirs
To be clear, clicking the "Tick" and setting the defaults only applies to the page you are on in the Setup Wizard. For existing installs just set the defaults. They are already defined and ready to go.
Draco1962
Mike, why don't you just set the defaults? What I the issue with doing that? I don't get it?Initially when I went to set things up, there were no default settings prefilled. Having never clicked on the Check Mark to set the defaults before, I wasn't sure what to do. I just did so and noticed that [TABLEFILEWOEXT] is not part of the default parameter settings.EDIT: The following settings worked and the table loads:[PinballArcade]Enabled=TrueWorkingPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\SteamExecutable=steam.exeParameters=-applaunch 238260 [TABLEFILEWOEXT]WaitFor=12Process=PinballArcade.exe
