PBX Immediate crash upon startup

Hello Everyone,

I am relatively new to this great frontend, I just re-installed it as I encountered serious FP/FutureDMD difficulties and thought a fresh setup might help. No, it got worse. :-(

There was no upgrade, I re-installed v.2.02.

There is some surface/parameter error in the log file I don't understand. I set up everything the same way as before. I have 3 monitors (PF/BG/DMD in this order).

I launch the frontend, it displays the PBX logo...and it shuts down automatically.

Could someone please help me ?

You posted this in the GameEx forums so I moved it for you. I am sure someone will take a look at this soon.

In reviewing your setup, you have a Radeon GPU - are you running the full Catalyst Software Suite with the Gaming Evolved Client by Raptr? If so, you will want to follow the suggestions in that link. Also, updating your GPU drivers might be in order.

No, I don' have the Raptr Software Suite installed.

I checked the AMD drivers, they are up-to-date.

I don't undestand what caused this mess :-(

Are you able to run FP outside of PinballX without any issues?

Yes, I am.

In the meantime, I re-installed PinballX again. I don't know what happened, the frontend starts now, it's OK.
