[RESOLVED] Updating over current install?

Hey guys, for some reason the latest updates are not getting pushed to me automatically. I'm not getting the prompt to update when I boot up GameEx like I normally would. I'm currently running 14.07 I believe. My question is, If I was was just to manually download the latest version I should be able to just install over my previous install and keep all my settings without having to uninstall/reinstall right? Also is there anything reason it would stop sending me the prompt to update automatically? Thanks

The has been a change in server location for the GameEx sites since that version so it is possible that when your PC is trying to "phone home" to check for updates it is not getting an answer. It is not calling the right number.

You can download and install over your existing installation and should be fine. It would not hurt to backup your GameEx setup.

It might be that your license is about to expire if you only purchased a 1 year. So watch out.

Thanks for the info guys. I Definitely gotta upgrade to the lifetime membership ASAP. In the mean time I'll try to upgrade over my current install. Thanks again, can't wait for Evolution!
