TalkingBull
It isn't a bad idea but I think most people don't really use a keyboard as a feature on their machines. When you go to a game in GameEx, it has a list of similar titles and sequels at the bottom where the history is. I have always used that and the KLOV (Killer List of Video Games).

amos_82
Sounds good. But there aren't that many titles which cross generations/platforms. Usually if you have an idea like mario, or sonic you know where to find it. Also a search feature might be difficult for cab users who don't all use keyboards. hansolo77
I think this is a good idea too. The ability to implement this wouldn't be very hard. Just have the search option open a new screen/menu and use a virtual keyboard layout. At the top of the screen have an input field and at the bottom of the screen have a keyboard layout. Each letter would be a button. And the user can use their remote/controller and go to say the button [m] and press the enter button, then move to [a] and press enter, [r], , [o] etc... then go up to the top field again where another button would say [sEARCH] and it would execute. I've seen this type of system used in regular console games that have online abilities. Where a keyboard isn't present the user can still "type" out the data. Tom Speirs
NOTE TO ALL: Please remember to use the feature request sticky. Although I've implemented hundreds of requests, and plan to implement 100's more its me and me only who decides, and I really don't need a vote to investigate, evaluate and then possibly design and implement a feature. If a request is not in the sticky it could likely get lost, I very rarely go more than four pages deep into the forum unless I am searching. Don't mean to spoil your fun though

TX_TRINITY
I'm not one of these ppl who would use the search feature. The navigation with a controller does the job quickly enough for me. My tuppence.
