When PinballFX2 is added, it doesn't appear at "select list" when you click on "Manage Groups" in the Game List Manager.

No need to attach any files as this is very easy to reproduce. Just give it a try.

My Workaround: I've created an empty group, edited the file located at database\groups manually and added the path to the pinball fx2 to it. Now i have my PinballFX2 group, but that should work out of the game manager.

Since you are the first to report this "bug," please provide your pinballx.ini and log.txt files. That's how this works and we won't do anything else to try to troubleshoot until you do.

One question, did you enable Pinball FX2 integrated support via the Setup Wizard before going to Game Manager? That has to be done first before a file is generated for use within Game Manager as far as I am aware.

Sry, i've overlooked this post completely... was too busy with setting up my cab PC this weekend and getting everything to run.

Yeah, i was using the internal PinballFX2 function.

I can add all my systems - VP(intern) VP9PM5 (other) FP (intern) to a group via the group tool, but not PinballFX2.

I fail to understand, what the pinballx.log or my ini has to do with the group management in the GameManager, but ok...

However, if no one else has this problem and you can't reproduce it, then it might be only happening on my pc. I don't need a "fix" for this, as i've created the file manually. I think you have tried to reproduce this, as creating a group and adding the PinballFX2 section would only take ~30seconds?

Just wanted to point out an ill behaviour i encountered and i thought creating a "bug report" could help out other users and improve PinballX (which is already _GREAT_). If that's not the case, abandon this "ticket", that's fine with me, i have my solution and since it's not reproducable on another system as it seems... w/e

We generally ask for these things as the details within each let us know how you have PinballX setup and provide us with OS and other system related information as a foundation for initial troubleshooting. That is to start. We may also ask for copies of .xml files for the systems you have setup if necessary to further troubleshoot.

There may be nothing that stands out to you as an issue within these files, but there may be something that one of us has seen before. Otherwise, we are "flying blind" and asking a lot of questions that can be avoided by having this information up front.

It may be beneficial for you to provide step-by-step details as to how you worked around this issue successfully. This information may be beneficial to the author as well as others that may encounter similar setbacks.

Thank you.
