GeordieDave Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Hello all first time poster..Running windows 7 home premium 64 bit with hyperspin. Im having a tricky issue with instant sheller. I have ran the program entered my user password for the account so it logs in but im still being prompted for password and I still have one windows premium sign still on boot up. Seems some of the program is working but part of it dosn't seem to be. I have undone the changes and it's went back to normal as it should do, im just wondering what may be causing the issues? Have I missed something? Im really new to all this. Another issue I have is that I had the PC built from a company called PC specialist and they have added a little logo first and foremost on boot up as soon as the PC is powered on. Will sheller not hide this either?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Dave.
Draco1962 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 For the second issue, it is likely that the PC Specialists logo was added at the BIOS level. You will have to consult your motherboard manufacturer for instructions on how to modify the boot logo. For the first issue. If you want it to shell, you can't have the Windows account setup to require a user name and password if you want it to boot straight into the primary account. 2
GeordieDave Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 Draco,Thanks for the reply.Im a little bit confused, in the instant sheller program it asked if I wanted to add the password for the account? Should I not do that? I entered the password for my windows log in. Im the only user on the PC.Do I have to disable the user name and password for windows all together? Or switch to some sort of auto log in? Apologies for the beginners questions.Thanks,Dave.
Draco1962 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I would try it without and see if you experience improvement.

If you want Windows (7) to boot automatically into Instant Sheller you will need to do the following (bare in mind your AnitVirus, Firewall etc will not get loaded so only do this if your system is disconnected):Click the Windows Button/ press the Windows Key.In the search field type: netplwiz, press Enter.Choose your Admin profile and uncheck the box next to Users must enter a user name and password.Click Apply.Repeat till Windows is satisfied. Now reboot Windows.Did it work? if so go back to Instant Sheller and choose not to use password. Run it. Reboot. To answer the bios screen question, as Draco said it can't be done, however a lot of these things can be disabled in the bios itself (look for "splash/loading" screen etc). 1
