Preview videos stopped working

This is driving me crazy,and I hope someone can help. The preview videos for both the backglass and playfield have stopped working.

Here's what I have done and seen so far:

I installed a fresh install of PinballX and moved the media files from the old install's directory. And then the videos worked!

Then.... i renamed the new directory to the same name as the previous one (after renaming the previous one as well), and the the videos stopped working. Argh.

So, I changed the directory name of the fresh install back to what it was (something like PinballX_new), and then the videos started working again. Yay.

Then, the next day, the videos stopped working, even though nothing had changed. Argh.

Now, it seems that no matter what I do with directory names, the videos will not play. Who knows, maybe everything above was random. Regardless, I can not get a single video to play in any circumstance.

Can anyone help?
