I noticed when I was doing the MAME video creation, at some point during the process, GAMEEX restarts. Is this the auto update feature doing this??

I wish I could! I stood by, watching the video creation (for hours, like you said it would take

and after I got tired from injesting too much vino, I hit the sack. When I awoke, dazed and groggy, it got an error log from GAMEEX. I will retry it again and post the log to see if you can gleen anything from it!

I have a quick question concerning the video creation process. Does this process skip over already existing video's or does it overwrite them? Or, is there an option that I haven't looked at yet that allows you to toggle "if file exists" skip or overwrite?

The reason I ask is for when I update my rom set as new sets are released.

Also, does GameEx audit the video files for roms on demand? For example, if a rom set is renamed, will GameEx delete and rebuild a video with the correct filename, or will it rename the existing file?

Sorry if these are obscure questions. I'm just really digging your product and loving the detail and functionality.

Also, for mame does GameEx require mame32.exe exclusively or will it accept the regular cli mame?

Great questions! I was hoping it would recognize preexisting videos, but it appears to start from the beginning each time, which is why I could not figure out where the problem was, due to the time it takes to go through the process..after a few hours of watching, I turned my head..and BAM!..restarted!!
