I have a problem with Video Snaps not playing for games unless there are every other type of thing in my Assets folder. Example: My PS2 games won't play their Video Snaps (Yes they're perfectly named) because the only other media I have for them is their Box art. My N64 games play (for the most part) because nearly every N64 game I have has all the different types of snaps (title, snap, box, cartridges). Why do I need to have those for my Videos to play???? I should just need the video file to be in its appropriate path with its appropriate name.

EDIT: Apparently it doesn't matter what snaps I have. I have some games that have nothing but the box cover and it plays the video snap. So I have no idea why some of my games play the video snaps and some don't.

Hi Uber

I notice you have a bunch of double slashes all over the place in your directory strings for media directories. Here's one example of many:

emu_17_rompath=Q:\Roms\\Nintendo Game Boy\Roms
emu_17_snappath=Q:\Assets\\Nintendo Game Boy\Snaps
emu_17_titlepath=Q:\Assets\\Nintendo Game Boy\Titles
emu_17_boxpath=Q:\Assets\\Nintendo Game Boy\Boxes
emu_17_cartpath=Q:\Assets\\Nintendo Game Boy\Cartridges
emu_17_manualpath=Q:\Assets\\Nintendo Game Boy\Manuals
emu_17_controlpanelpath=Q:\Assets\\Nintendo Game Boy\Controls

Are these UNC shared folders or something? Even then the double slash seems like it's in a strange place. I'd take a look at those directory strings to see if you need to make some adjustments. I could definitely be wrong, I'm just not sure I've ever seen network directories structured quite like that.

They shouldn't be shared folders. All of my stuff is located on an external 1TB HDD except for GameEx herself. Though its strange. I don't remember putting 2/ on those directory paths. And my PS2 stuff doesn't have 2 just 1 so it doesn't affect anything because all my GameBoy stuff shows up.

Do those paths display that way in the Setup Wizard? What happens when you Verify Setup in the Setup Wizard? Does it give you any warnings?

It was showing up in the setup wizard. I've since looked at all my paths and deleted any double slashes I saw. Never really do Verify Setup anymore so I didn't get the chance to do so. My PS2 videos still aren't playing btw. I've also noticed any games I have that are multi disc don't play their video snap anymore until I click on the game and hover over the disc choices. If I make another copy of the video with just the games name no (disc 1) after it, it will play in the list again.
