Loading table screen not staying in PinballX

Hi, I have following issue with PinballX while loading any table: it shows for a couple of seconds the loading image (Loading.png) but after that it shows for a second or two the desktop (or any open program window underneath) and after comes the loading screen of Future Pinball.

Everything loads and works fine, but I guess PinballX should normally show the loading.png until the table shows completely loaded. I mean, it should be.. frontend -> choose table -> loading.png -> table, without interruptions.

Do you have any solution?

It happens every time I load a table.

The table loads fine and I can play it. But before it, during the loading I can see the desktop outside PinballX and the Future Pinball loading screen.

I don't play FP that often on my cab but it should go:

frontend -> choose table -> loading.png -> FP table load screen -> table

(note the FP table load screen is similar to this: http://docam.free.fr/images/loading_screen_small.jpg)

Not sure if it matters or the spacing is off in the code above, but try setting your FP parameters to this in PBX:

That is a VP table starting at 0:30.

Did you check your parameters? In your Pinball.ini you don't have a space:

Forgot the 'x' should be pinballx.ini, but look in your pinballx.ini file for the parameters section under FP that you posted above:

There doesn't seem to be a space between the arguments - /arcaderender/STAYINRAM

It didn't make any difference with or without the space.

Also same behavior with both of these:

Also get rid of the trailing '\' in these lines:

Something is causing it to lose focus, because even on my test machine the screen goes black after the LOADING screen (for about 10 secs) while FP is loading the table. Neither my cab or test machine show the background windows. I thought it may have been a speed/loading issue since I have a SSD drive in my cab but that is not it.

I made all you said but nothing changes. I also have black screen for some seconds, I guess that's normal.

What's wrong is that the background windows show for a second or so (sometimes only after I exit the table).
