Hello everyone !!!

I wanted to make some questions about automatic downloading of images, videos, etc ... in GameEx.

I have an account registered in Emumovies and I have configured my username and password in GameEx. Also I have activated the automatic download of artwork in GameEx.

When I start GameEx, I see a big sign at the bottom that says "downloading videos XXX" for a few minutes I see this sign is changing and it downloads different artwork of all systems that I have configured in GameEx.

My questions are:

If I start a game, downloading artwork stop?

Gameex stops downloading after a few minutes?

These configuration questions are because I've noticed that after a few minutes I see the sign download no longer appears and makes me think that either stopped by starting a game or that after a few minutes to download artwork.

Is there any way to see the status of downloads of GameEx artwork inside?

Thank you very much for your help.

The notification display is temporary and continues to work in the background. This is so you can use GameEx without the notification banner blocking display. There is no way to see the status.

I don't believe there is a way to see the status inside of GameEx, however you can always use the external downloader included with GameEx. You can find it either in Windows Menu> GameEx> "Download Artwork and Videos" OR you can run Download Service Utility.exe in your GameEx directory. This external version will carry on regardless of what you do, and not only you that, you can choose which media to download and you have a visible progress bar :)

EDIT - bah Draco Sensei ninja me :D

Ok Draco, i understand that notifications displays some seconds and dissapears, but after few minutes i can't see any notification.

It means that Gameex continues working, also if i not see any notification after few minutes?

to my knowledge, you cant check it. but i do believe it continues to download regardless of gameplay, it just does it in the background. the only problem is the automatic downloads use underscores instead of spaces and similar but diifferent folder names. instead of boxes it uses box, instead of nintendo 64 folder it uses nintendo_64, so you have to manually set it before it downloads for them to show up. or do what i do, and use the automatic downloader utility and then copy and paste into the default active directories.
