Disable/Remove Mame?

I know that I am speaking heresy here, but is there a way to disable MAME in GameEx and remove it from the menu?

You can modify what shows and doesn't by using Custom Menus. Learn more about it in DazzleHPs Using Custom Menus thread.

You can also disable mame by changing the 'enable mame' setting.

Do a search for that in GameEx setup wizard, I don't know offhand where the option is.

there is also a way to set it to show up in the emulator section and not in the main page. but as with my recent problems i had i wouldnt suggest tinkering with it too much. but yes there are ways to disable it in the setup wizard. just got to look for it. it wont jump out and bite you.

You can disable integrated MAME support via Enable/Disable Features. Don't forget that many of these options are searchable by keyword in Setup WIzard (see also our Wiki).
