Krakerman
Ok guys I decided to create a whole new theme that is based off of my Gameroom Ex theme. I tweaked a few things and since GameEx is really geared toward both HTPC's and Arcades I decided to shift gears and improve upon what I did with my Gameroom themes and create an Arcade HTPC look. Here is my first screenshot of my WIP so far.[uPDATE 11-27-14] cleaned up the interface and added some text effects.[uPDATE 11-29-14] added some graphical improvements.

Krakerman
Ok now that I am finished how I want my layout and title screen to look and I am ready to start working on all the system themes now. First up is the Atari 2600 theme. I know this was a favorite one on the GameroomEx theme but being this is a media center style theme I am not doing individual game themes for this until EVO come out which at that time I hope to add more items and art depending on what I can do or is allowed with EVO's theme designing. One nice thing with this theme is I don't have to create all these individual themes which will cut down on the time it will take me to complete this as well as no special things you need to do to set it up.

Krakerman
Well I am taking some ideas that I was working on in this theme and going to save it for Evolution. So for now this theme is on hold but will continue once Evolution arrives.Glad you guys like it and I have alot of ideas but the current engine just can't do what I want so I think I'll wait and see what will be possible with Evo.At least I know you guys like the direction I was taking this and can't wait what I'll be able to do with Evo. One thing is for sure with all the time I've had waiting I been working on my graphical skills, trying/learning out various paint programs as well as learning and fully setting up Hyperspin (also created some themes and bezels) now that I have that fully running and I will be ready to implemet those themes into Evo once it arrives! Zero Dreams
Alright, after seeing Krakerman's theme screenshot I know it's possible to take a picture of your GameEx just like the first post. The question is can it be done in GameEx or are you supposed to use the theme editor? Idk what keys to use or which app to try but there's definitely a screenshot in the first post and he knows how to do it. Sorry this is off topic but I just want somebody to learn me. Draco1962
I usually open GameEx in "windowed mode" and use either the free Snipping Tool that comes with Windows 7/8 or Greenshot which is much more feature rich and is very similar to Snag-It. Greenshot will allow you to capture an area to "crop out" the Window frame if you choose.
Zero Dreams
Thanks. I've been able to get a screenshot with printscreen and crop it out in Photoshop if GameEx is windowed. I can also record it to video if it's windowed as well.Guess there's no native method on full screen capture and I'm glad it wasn't something silly I was overlooking. I'll take a look at Greenshot. Thanks again.

Krakerman
UPDATE!:Now that I have the ability to add HyperLaunch within GameEx and have been messing around with it and have it working with several systems with custom bezels so far .... it's looking pretty sweet especially since I'm running it on a 4 monitor setup using GameExtender and Display Fusion I can display individual game info on all monitors including a marquee on one of them. Each game can have it's own graphics on each monitor. Very cool!!I'm always trying to find ways to push the boundry's on what can be done within GameEx. Well my newest addition is the ability to have custom graphical menu's .... yupppers no more text as I can now have any image I want to replace the text in my menu with whatever I create using png images. There are some limitations but still neat none the less.Soon I'll be able to show you what I am talking about. Also I have been working behind the scenes on this theme and revising it with a new name as well ..."Gameroom Media Center" is now the new official name for it not sure if it will see the light of day before EVO is released but I have had alot of new ideas and I am testing them out just like I mentioned above. Who knows what will come from this theme but it's looking good so far. So with that said I am moving it's current status from "ON HOLD" to "WIP". Krakerman
Ok guys to give you an idea of what I was talking about with using a custom graphical menu in your theme look at the menu option that I selected called "Gameroom". One nice thing with this I can have each system have it's own custom menus seperate from each other if I want too.
