ibleedspeed
Still feeling out if I wanna make this background the entire theme or If I want to have every page be different... also the text was just a test... will be looking for a better text style cuz this one dont really fit the background I think...ps kinda hard to see the carbon fiber detail on the forum with the size reduction of the image but the background is a really fine carbon fiber...I have since made some slight alterations to make the background have more depth as well...each emulator has its own character render, console and logo like the gamecube above...
Draco1962
I say run with it and see where it leads you! Good to see that you are experimenting with different logos and building a theme. BTW, I have moved this to the Themes and Graphics forum.

ibleedspeed
Nice Work, Nice to see another member taking the initiative. After being directed to the graphics section of the forum it is clear I have much to learn...lol... But I can get obssessive about this kind of stuff... I seem to be making a lot of progress with my gameex install so far though between work and scouring the web for box art and other graphic elements... I managed to setup my pc games in gameex today which is huge because I have been launching them with a dock for many years...things are rounding out and I just popped in to look for some more graphics I can borrow from the forum... thanks again guys.
KRC
There are dozens of websites and other forums where you can obtain artwork. All depends on what you need. If you need anything specific let me know and I can point you in the right direction.

All things considered it,s looking pretty boss for me... But more sources for graphics could certainly help add to it... thanks.
ibleedspeed
I managed to snag a decent image of my pc case, the nzxt switch 810 had to remove the background myself of course but totally worth it for the novelty of seeing my pc under the pc games header...
nullPointer
These are looking great ibleedspeed! Nice work on removing the background and cleaning up the edges. I never would have guessed that these hadn't come directly from the source with a transparent background. Keep it up!

ibleedspeed
GameEx now registered Sure does make theme building a lot less painful...lol. Anybody have any suggestions for this theme?
Draco1962
A few words for a good theme. The first that comes to mind is consistency. This is one of the hardest to acheive. The "feel" you want to give throughout the theme should be consistant from one section to the next. The logos that display for each system as well as the "core" logos (logos that are the basis of the Default-Default theme for the initial menu) should be of the same size and contain the same design elements. The same holds true for your background images. This ties into the second word - simplicity. Keep it simple. Too busy and it is easy for someone else using your system to get lost. Too many bold elements may result in clutter or chaos. Finally, experiment. Learn how to master your graphics tools to create new visual effects, manipulate image sizes, etc.You will likely end up creating several themes until you create one you really like, and even then you will likely continue to change things here and there.P.S. One last word - Share. This is important. Someone else may like what you have done and can see it on their own system. Once completed, ZIP your theme folder and upload it here.
