1.89 LED Plugin

It's only for navigating the pinballx menu itself, it has nothing to do with the actual tables themselves.

Understood, just wondering how responsive it is?, and thinking it would only need a small tweak.

I have experimented with mapping the keystate of the flippers to a ledwiz event but have had noticeable lag so far with my bumbling attempts.

Maybe swisslizards DOF plugin is the answer.

Yes that's what you can do you can have a contactor fire when pressing flipper button scrolling through wheel left or right

This definitely isn't possible with the current plugin, you can get it to fire on, off, or on and off repeatedly but not when pressing a flipper button only.

Couple issues,

In config for plugin I can choose an output for device 1 and then another on device 2 and it works in test but not in actual pinballx. Both devices work but not when you combine them together for a mode.

Also I get a random knocker fire during menu select and attract mode and this was an issue with ledwiz and DOF but swisslizard changed update timing slightly (3ms?) to fix it I'm not really sure about the exact fix.

Did you manage to fix this as I am getting this too.

Thanks

Its not good to bump like that frodus but the plugin would have to be updated to work per system instead of global to do that. There are hopefully some new plugins on the way though which will be much better than I can do. They wont be ready one day after posting though ;)

However, a script could probably do the same thing. I am not well up on DOF but I think it can be used from the command line. Could be wrong.

I guess I'm used to more active forums.... It sat unanswered for 2 days (I posted on the 17th, today is the 19th) and I thought it might have been missed. I know some people read forums by new topics only, so things can easily be overlooked.

I'll look into ledblinky to see if that will work and I'll execute on load.

Sometimes a response is not going to be immediate because the answer is not apparent. 2-5 days is not unheard of even in the busiest of forums, depending on the complexity, lack of supporting information, etc. We are hobbyists which also means that "real life" may get in the way of a speedy response as well. This community is well-served by its author and members. Patience, Grasshoppa!
