Wing Commander III - Heart of the Tiger is free via EA's Origin until September 16!

I just threw my original disc copy away last month because we found it in the bottom of a box that we saved from the fire. It was all burned up and had ash all over it, and the one CD was cracked. This was a good game. Wouldn't mind playing it again, but I don't have Origin, and don't really wanna sign up for it just to get that. When this game was out, I was hoping the Wing Commander movie would be a tie in with the same special makeup effects. I was wrong. No Mark Hamil (Luke Skywalker), no Thomas F. Wilson (Biff from BttF), no Malcom McDowel (bad guy in Star Trek Generations), no John Rhys-Davies (Gimly), no Ginger Lynn (porn princess), and no really cool Hobbes makeup. Instead we get 2 guys from ScoobyDoo, and a piss-poor story.

Worth signing up, the "Game on the house" changes every month, It has mostly been the Indie/xbla style titles but free is free
