GameEx In-Game Pause Issues

So I'm moving the conversation Krakerman and I were having over in the GameRoomv2 thread to it's own topic. Hoping it might be something Krakerman and I have configured wrong in our settings, but as Krakerman suggested, I'm posting to get some feedback on what might cause the issues discussed below:

Loving this theme Krak, but I have a question. When I use the GameEx in-game pause feature to view manuals, etc. The theme backgrounds do not display. Instead, I get a solid black background. I may have something wrong in my settings? Any suggestions?

Ok I tried out the in-game pause feature tonight after I got home from work and mine goes to the default start theme. If you installed my fix here then this should fix the black screen issue. However I think this might be an issue to mention to Tom because it doesn't goto the default theme setup for that emulator like you would think unless I missing something here. I even in the emulator setup selected the custom background to the set systems and it didn't help at all. Also I notice that when you used the in-game pause feature and then return to the game and then exit the emulator and go back to your game list it actually goes back to the pause menu then you esc back from that to your game list. So those are the two issues that I have seen with this feature so we might need to bring this up to Tom and see what he says.

Not sure if anyone has taken notice to this at all as there have been no gameex.ini and log.txt files attached or indication that the issue also occurs when using Default-Default theme or is theme-specific to GameRoomEx v2. Thanks, guys!

Ok Draco just to show you an idea of what we are talking about I am posting 2 images one is my Atari 5200 theme when you select the game and the next is after you press F10 to pause and it goes to the pause screen notice it defaults to my GameroomEX theme background when I would think it should be the Atari 5200 theme background since that is the system I am currently playing or at least the ability to create a custom pause menu background and foreground and not use the main start background.

Also attached are my logs and GameEx config. Sorry I should of posted those before my bad. Been so dang busy with this theme and forgot about that as usual.

The other option in the pause menu which not even sure why it is in there is system theme??? Seems kinda like this should not even be there. When I select it it just displays my cart label? Go figure.... Is there a way to turn that system theme item off?

As far as falling back to emubak.PNG that's a known issue.
