Some of the video names are slightly incorrect and therefore not playing in GameEx.

For example: (Using the NES set)

Video Name: capcom co., ltd

Database Name: capcom co., ltd.

Notice the period in the database name? However putting that period on the filename looks like this:

capcom co., ltd..mp4

and seems to cause naming issues within Windows 7 by not recognizing the .mp4 file extention but the video wont play without it matching exactly to the database...

There were more with similar naming issues, but I didn't keep track of all of them.

Try using fuzzy match for your artwork: Launch Setup Wizard> Tweaks/Performance> change Snap Best Match to Yes Extra Search.

It may slow the appearance of your videos slightly (depending on your system/drives etc) but should resolve this issue :)

Did you obtain the videos using the download service or from the FTP?

PS: There is no matching done on the database videos. Its just exact.

I got them straight from the FTP. Once I can get some time and get to my GE setup, I'll make note of the videos that needed renaming to play in GE. I believe Circo might have to take a look at some of these for naming inconsistancy like the example above. I reset my system last night and after renaming the video, I got it playing in GE, so now it's just a matter of finding the ones that might have naming issues. Not a big deal, just wanted to pass that along incase others might be wondering why some of their videos for the databases aren't playing :) If anyone is using the NES set, could you be kind enough to do a quick run through of them in GE to see if all are working? As I said I had issues with other sets too, but I think the NES set was the one with the most gaps.

Sounds like this should be reported to EmuMovies rather than here but thanks for letting me know.

I originally thought it was something not right in my GameEx setup due to Windows not recognizing the .mp4 files. That was something else and it's straitened out now. I'll send Circo a PM about the naming issues. Thanks guys.
