Xpadder Vs. Wireless XBox 360 Controller

Alright guys I'm in a bind here. Basically I have a wireless xbox 360 controller made for windows. I have the controller working fine for projec64, but with PCSXR (Playstation) I can't get it to work. I have went through the controller setup via PCSXR and it recognizes my inputs, but when I load a PS game, nothing happens. I purchased and downloaded xpadder and got the plugin for it. When I go to set up a profile in Xpadder for the 360 controller, it does not recognize any input from the controller. I have the software/drivers installed for the 360 controller that came on the disk. I do have to mention that I have tried the same thing with the other PS emulator and also another wireless controler (logitech f710) and same thing, project64 works fine, xpadder and PCSXR nothing.

So any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm off to bed for now, its midnight and I have work bright and early in the morning.Look forward to your responses, thanks in advance!

Things I have tried:

**Uninstalling a re-installing updated drivers for Wireless Xbox360 controller.

**Tried multiple USB ports

**Tried different emulators

**Installed XPadder (Not recognizing button input)

**Tried a different wireless controller (Logitech F710)

I just find it weird that It maps up and works perfect in Project64, but with both PS emulators it will map the buttons in the controller setup but will not respond during game play?

Hi, you may wish to refer to this thread and others linked within to provide us with some more information. You will need to make sure that the emulator is working fine outside of GameEx in may cases before we can effectively troubleshoot any issues when running it from GameEx.

Thanks Draco, after many hours of forum searching and troubleshooting I have discovered that there are 2 USB ports that are usless . Time for a new motherboard I guess
