13.24 Categories question

Tom - with the most recent update to display videos for Categories, Years, Manufacturers, etc., is it possible for the end user to display still images (.png) instead of videos? If so, what would be the naming conventions? If not, will this be a possible enhancement later on?

Not to take away anything from you, Circo! I like the vids, but some may prefer a still image depending on theme, system overhead, etc. and would be cool to leverage the functionality to that end.

I was just trying to be funny I could do a matching PNG set set in nothing flat if needed. Naming should be just what you see on the screen (or same as video names). / is replaced by -

I know. We both suffer from a devilishly wry sense of humor. I think they refer to that in the UK and AUS as being "cheeky."

I could probably tap into it in GI too as I don't support videos yet. :-)

It does support pngs already. With the naming all you have to do it replace invalid file characters such as * and \ with a -
